Informational Session: Paranormal Tourism
November 5, 2026
1:00 pm-2:00 pm
Join us November 5, 2026, from 1–2 p.m. Eastern for an informational session exploring the Haunted History Trail—a collaborative tourism model connecting para-curious travelers with the history, hauntings, and hidden stories of a destination.
During this session, we’ll explore:
- A proven collaborative model: How the Haunted History Trail of New York State grew to include 33 county partners and more than 80 haunted locations.
- Tourism beyond “Spooky Season”: How a network of haunted attractions, ghost tours, paranormal investigations, historic sites, and themed accommodations can create reasons to visit throughout the year.
- A new way to tell your destination’s story: How collaborative marketing can bring together local businesses and attractions to reach travelers seeking unusual, history-rich experiences.
- Lessons from expansion: What we’ve learned from launching the Haunted History Trail of Michigan in 2026—and what the model could look like in other destinations.
