TAP Gives Back was established many years ago as a part of TAP Dance to provide support to a deserving organization that provides services to children. TAP Partners and PPTPs raise funds in order to enhance the lives of children and their families. To date, TAP Gives Back has raised $136,800 for children’s charities located in the city hosting our previous Annual General Meetings.

Champion Autism Network

CAN is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by Becky Large in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Dedicated to autism awareness and support, CAN aims to create inclusive communities where individuals with autism can live, work, and play without judgment or worry. The organization offers programs like the Autism Travel Card, which discreetly signals to participating businesses that a family member has autism, ensuring appropriate service and support. CAN also provides sensory-friendly events and collaborates with businesses to foster autism-friendly environments. In January 2016, Surfside Beach became the first autism-friendly travel destination, with Myrtle Beach and Horry County following suit in 2018.
