TAP Gives Back was established many years ago as a part of TAP Dance to provide support to a deserving organization that provides services to children. TAP Partners and PPTPs raise funds in order to enhance the lives of children and their families. To date, TAP Gives Back has raised $133,275 for children’s charities located in the city hosting our previous Annual General Meetings.

In honor of our late friend and TAP Partner, David Burns, this year the organization selected from our host city in Southern Indiana (SoIn) is Liberty Place. David was a long-time committed TAP Partner and military veteran.
Liberty Place
A hopeful place for veterans, Liberty Place provides a transitional living program for veterans who are homeless or facing the possibility of homelessness and most are dealing with alcohol/substance overcoming or mental health illness. The program provides a safe and sober living environment to assist in their recovery process. Liberty Place works in partnership with the Veterans Court of Southern Indiana to assist veterans in achieving the goal of entering back into the community on their own, of course, with the resources of staying connected to mentors and program partners. This program serves veterans currently within Floyd, Clark, and Scott counties.
