TAP Dance is one of the most unique travel conferences you will experience, designed to expand your business during a two-day all-access event with Travel Alliance Partnership (TAP). This organization of premier North American Tour Operators offers one-of-a-kind products from more than 500 destinations worldwide and they are eager to learn more about your unique destination or attraction to add to their travel product.
Each supplier attendee (we call them Preferred Professional Travel Providers – PPTPs for short!) will be grouped into a regional pod and hold a 25-minute focused session with each of the TAP Partners. These meetings are not only a personal and informative way to showcase your areas/products, but a chance to learn what’s most important to each TAP Tour Operator Partner. The end result: increased promotion of your products throughout the TAP network and quality tours for TAP Tour Operators.
Airport and Transportation:
Please note that shuttle transport will be offered to/from the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) only. Drive time from the airport to the Avista Resort is about 30 minutes.
Upon arrival, all guests should proceed to baggage claim on the first floor of the terminal. After collecting your luggage, please visit the "Welcome to the Beach" Visitor's Center, where staff will be available to assist you and direct you to the designated motorcoach transportation area.
Watch our TAP Dance 101 video for standard event procedures and guidelines, including tips on how to prepare for your appointments!
Check out our FAQ document for even more event details – ranging from your pod schedule to dress code and more.
This year appointments will take place in the living room portion of the Tour Operator Partner suites, so it will function a bit differently than the video "Dance Card" describes (compared to our standard set up of appointment tables in large meeting rooms).

TAP Gives Back was established many years ago as part of TAP Dance to create an annual effort by TAP Partners and PPTPs to raise funds in order to enhance the lives of local residents. Traditionally, the charity was selected from the city hosting TAP's Annual General Meetings. Beginning in 2022, we now select a charity based in the TAP Dance host city. To date, TAP Gives Back has raised $136,800 for local charities.
This year, the organization selected from our host city is Champion Autism Network (CAN) is a nonprofit autism awareness organization started in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. CAN was founded in 2012 by Becky Large, a business professional and mother to a child on the spectrum. Their goal is to create and ensure inclusive communities where all people CAN happily live, work and play, by building a world-wide network of autism champions including businesses, local nonprofits and individuals with autism.
